Last of the Two

At this time the finishing touches to my Bug Beast is complete. This model wasn't given as much detail than all the work I've seen before. I could've refined the segments more and it wouldn't have hurt to add organs. I did give it a nervous system but it is hardly seen. This looks more geared towards a video game. This would be a boss character without a doubt. In the video it's feet go into the ground. I had trouble keeping them over the plane. I can admit that the pushing up of the plane would give the impression of the ground being sandy. I used that excuse to make the feet sink true.

My Shellisha character looks somewhat different from last time. I gave her a sea urchin crown and swim heels. The giant scallop shell is her shield and the spear has a swordfish for a tip.
The shell on her back was reduced in size.
I'm still trying to place visible gills on her neck. You can see there is a slight discoloration in that area. As a fighter, it would have been logical for her to keep shorter hair, or shell covered tentacles.
Before I've sketched fish fins at the base of her foot. They are a mechanism that helps her swim through the water.
The color sceme for this character was considered the majority of the time. I figured that she would be sort of like a underwater princess with an attitude. She is not exactly a "good person", but she's not evil either. Certain characters, which were not recognized as good, had either a purple or black attire.

It would have been nice to show the room instead of the Death Hand. More work should have also been added. I did add a bone system to the Bug Beast and also hair. The material for the wings were created in Photoshop and brought into 3ds max.( Note: For some reason the video wouldn't show in the blog)
